• Essential Qualification:
  • A Bachelor’s Degree (B.E./B.Tech) in Civil Engineering or an equivalent qualification from a recognized University/Institution.
  • OR
  • A Diploma in Civil Engineering with First Class from a recognized University/Institution in India.
• Desirable Qualification:
  • Preference will be given to candidates who have prior experience in relevant fields, supported by evidence of fieldwork, policy paper contributions, or involvement in the appraisal and monitoring of projects.
  • Working knowledge of Hindi and Marathi is also desirable.

Salary / Remuneration

• A consolidated monthly remuneration of ₹40,000 will be provided.
• There is a provision for a 5% annual increment based on satisfactory performance, which will be reviewed every six months.

Allowances and Benefits

While standard allowances like Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), and Transport Allowance are not applicable for this contractual role, the MbPA offers several other valuable benefits:

• Medical Facility: Interns are entitled to OPD (Out-Patient Department) and IPD (In-Patient Department) facilities, including medicines, at the MbPA’s own hospital. However, this facility does not extend to family members.
• Leave: Interns can avail 20 days of Casual Leave per calendar year on a pro-rata basis.
• Accommodation: Subject to availability, accommodation in Class III B quarters can be provided. The rent will be 10% of the consolidated remuneration plus single license fees per month. Electricity and water charges will be extra, based on actual consumption.
• Experience Certificate: A certificate of successful completion will be issued to interns who complete at least one year of engagement.
