Selected candidates are placed at the E-1 grade with pay scale Rs 40,000 – 3% – Rs 1,40,000 (IDA) and a starting basic of Rs 40,000. After successful completion of the one-year training period, executives continue in E-1 grade with regular allowances and progression to E-2 in subsequent years.
