• B.E./B.Tech in Civil / Construction
• 8 years (including training period) in the power, steel, refinery, fertilizer, oil & gas or cement sector, with at least 3 years’ site experience in Civil Construction

• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical / Production
• 8 years (including training period) in the same sectors, with at least 3 years’ site experience in Mechanical Erection/Maintenance/Commissioning

• B.E./B.Tech in Electrical / Electrical & Electronics
• 8 years (including training period) in the same sectors, with at least 3 years’ site experience in Electrical Erection/Maintenance/Commissioning

• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, Industrial Engg., Production & Industrial Engg., Thermal, Mechanical & Automation or Power Engg.
• 5 years (excluding training period) in a power project/plant of 200 MW or more

• B.E./B.Tech in Electrical / Electrical & Electronics
• 3 years (excluding training period) in electrical erection at site: substation/transmission, motors, HT/LT panels, switchgear, cabling, relay and protection, control systems or transformers, in major power, transmission, refinery, fertilizer, petrochemical, steel or cement projects

• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Civil, Production, Chemical, Construction or Instrumentation, plus Diploma / Advance Diploma / PG Diploma in Industrial Safety from Central Labour Institute or Regional Labour Institute, Govt. of India
